§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will state the name of every person who has died from non-natural causes whilst detained in police custody since 1970, and in each case the date of death, the name of the police station where the death occurred, and the cause of death as stated on the death certificates;
(2) if, pursuant to his answer, Official Report, 25 October, columns 249–50,he has yet collected the information concerning the names of all persons who have died whilst in police custody since 1970 and in each case the police station where the death occurred, the date of death, and the cause of death as stated on the death certificates.
