§ Mr. David Atkinsonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement about the implementation of the EEC directive on bathing water.
§ Mr. FoxFollowing the advice issued by the Government on the implementation of this directive water authorities and local authorities have been examining United Kingdom coastal waters. As a result of this exercise the Government have forwarded to the Commission a list of bathing waters which have been identified as falling within the scope of the directive. These are:
