§ Q31. Mr. Andrew F. Bennettasked the Prime Minister if she will meet representatives of the voluntary schools, including Church representatives, to discuss the problems for voluntary schools as a result of the proposed changes in provision for school transport.
§ The Prime MinisterI have no plans to do so. My right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science has already met representatives of the Churches and, because of the concern expressed by the Roman Catholic community in particular, met the Archbishop of Westminster yesterday to discuss the matter.
