Average weekly unrebated rates of rate rebate recipients in the financial year 1978–79 (first three quarters):
England Wales £ Single person 1.80 Married couple with no dependent children 1.80 Married couple with two dependent children 2.45 These estimates are based on the 1978 family expenditure survey. Because of the smallness of the sample, reliable estimates are not available in respect of families with four dependent children.
The estimates of rates are subject to sampling error and should be treated with caution.
