§ Mr. David MitchellOur economic policies are designed to deal with the causes of inflation and encourage firms throughout the country to become more competitive and to make the best of their opportunities to the benefit of employment generally. As far as textiles are concerned, we are helping the industry by doing all we can to ensure that the Community's arrangements under the MFA are implemented as quickly as possible.
