§ Mr. John Mackayasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will list tile monthly imports of new Zealand lamb into the United Kingdom for each of the last 12 months.
§ Mr. Parkinson[pursuant to his reply, 3 December 1979, c. 35]: United Kingdom imports of fresh, chilled or frozen lamb originating in New Zealand were as follows:

For this reason and because the particular months to which corrections incorporated in the cumulative figures of imports by country of origin for January to September 1979 (168,258 tonnes) cannot be readily identified, the figures for individual months of this year must be interpreted with particular caution. However, the sum of the individual months of 1979 overstate imports by only 336 tonnes.
