§ Mr. Rookerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list those companies which in each of the past three years have had recognition withdrawn as a banking business for the purposes of the taxation Acts.
§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 3 December 1979, c. 79]: Recognition as a bank for taxation purposes has been withdrawn from the following companies which on the information available to the Revenue had ceased to trade as banks.
