§ Mr. Peter ReesThe protocol with Luxembourg was signed on 18 July 1978. A draft order was laid before the House on 14 December 1978 and approved on 26 January 1979. The protocol will be ratified when the necessary legislative processes have been completed in Luxembourg.

§ Mr. Peter ReesThe proposed new convention is in course of translation by the Italian authorities. When the Italian text is complete the convention will be signed by the two Governments and the appropriate draft Order in Council will be laid before the House and published. I am not yet in a position to say when this will be.
