§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list those agencies caring for the single homeless which are wholly or partly funded by the Department and the amount of grant in each case; and if he will indicate the level of funding in each case proposed for the next financial year.
§ Sir George YoungThe following agencies are funded by the Department under section 64 of the Health Services and Public Health Act 1968. The Department's policy is to give priority to grant-aiding the headquarters costs of national organisations; only in exceptional circumstances can the Department contribute towards the funding of local projects.
