§ Mr. Arnoldasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what estimate he has made of the acreage of derelict and waste land in Greater Manchester.
§ Mr. FoxThe last full survey of derelict and despoiled land in England was carried out in 1974; at that time Greater Manchester had 7,870 acres of derelict land justifying restoration. I regret no separate figures are available for waste land falling outside the definition of derelict land.
