§ Sir Ian GilmourAs one of the principal contributors to the Council of Europe, the United Kingdom would be expected to subscribe to the resettlement fund US$1.84 million (£858,000) and to pay part of the administration costs of20W the partial agreement on the resettlement fund. In 1980 the contributions of France, the Federal Republic of Germany and Italy towards the administration costs will be Ff243,692.37 each (£27,000).
Additionally, the United Kingdom would be invited to join the majority of participating States in pledging, though not actually paying, a further amount equivalent to the original subscription.
