HC Deb 04 April 1979 vol 965 cc856-7W
Mrs. Jeger

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what contributions have been made to the United Nations environment fund since its inception; and what plans he has for future contributions.

Mr. Shore

In the first five years of the fund's existence, the United Kingdom contributed £2 million. Our contribution in 1978 and again in 1979 has been £600,000. The future level of United Kingdom contributions has yet to be decided.
