Mr. Peter Bottomley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he is satisfied that the proposals of the Greenwich borough council will lead to improved functioning of the Stonefield assessment centre, London, S.E.9;

(2) if he will institute an inquiry into the functioning and administration of Stonefield assessment centre, London, S.E.9, and the relationship with the Greenwich borough council during the past six years.
