HC Deb 04 April 1979 vol 965 c906W
Mr. Norman Atkinson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will set out the reasons for the delay in providing a comprehensive health centre at South Tottenham in the London borough of Haringey; and if sufficient money will be available for the project to be completed prior to the end of 1980.

Mr. Moyle

The scheme to provide a health centre at South Tottenham is included in the North-East Thames regional health authority's capital programme and finance for the scheme will be made available within the usual cost allowances when a date for the commencement of the development is finalised. The development of the health centre is dependent upon discussions which the London borough of Havering is at present undertaking with contractors for the development of the site.
