§ Mr. Peter Morrisonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) how many crimes were reported, and how many resulted in successful prosecution in 1978, in Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and Cumbria in each of the following categories: violence against against the person, burglary, robbery, theft and handling stolen goods, fraud and forgery, criminal damage, murder and manslaughter, and sexual offences;
(2) how many crimes were reported in Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Cumbria in 1978; 757W and how many resulted in successful prosecutions.
