§ Mr. Maddenasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will list the advance factories that have been built, or are under construction in the Sowerby Division since February 1974; what plans for further advance factory provision in the Sowerby Division are under consideration; and if he will make a statement regarding the new advance factory programme in Yorkshire and Humberside as a whole.
§ Mr. Les HuckfieldA block of 4 units, each of 2,500 square feet, has been built at Todmorden, and factories of 10,000 and 5,000 square feet, together with a further block of 4 units of 2,500 square feet, are under construction at Elland. The needs of both Sowerby and the Yorkshire and Humberside region as a whole will be borne in mind when a further programme of advance factories is being planned.
