§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that 5 per cent. of young people who entered 645W the youth opportunities programme up to the end of February 1979 joined work preparation courses. The remainder entered the work experience elements of the programme. It is clear that some 10 to 15 per cent. of the latter received some further education or other systematic off-the-job training.
