asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what was the net institutional recurrent cost per place in the latest year for which figures are available in (a) nursery classes in nursery schools, (b) nursery classes in primary schools, (c) primary schools, (d) secondary schools below compulsory school-leaving age, (e) secondary schools over compulsory school-leaving age, (f) non-advanced further education other than in polytechnics, (g) non-advanced further education in polytechnics, (h) advanced further education other than in polytechnics, (i) advanced further education in polytechnics and (j) universities.
