§ 66. Miss Fookesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the total cost of financing the National Association of Community Health Councils; and by whom the finance is provided.
§ Mr. MoyleThe total expenditure of the Association of Community Health Councils for England and Wales in the financial year 1977–78 was £21,501; this covers only part of that year, as the association did not come into being until August 1977. The estimated expenditure for 1978–79 is £80,000.
The association is funded jointly by my Department and subscriptions from member community health councils.
