Mr. Shersby

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will reply to the hon. Member for Uxbridge, concerning the representations that have been made to him on behalf of Mr. F. H. Snape concerning the death of his son in Malaysia; and if he will take immediate action to bring his inquiries with the Malaysian authorities to a satsfactory conclusion.

As the hon. Member is aware from the letter my right hon. and noble Friend sent him on 18 January, the High Commission at Kuala Lumpur is continuing to press the Malaysian authorities to bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion.
