HC Deb 03 April 1979 vol 965 c630W
Mr. Kilfedder

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how much the Department of Education is prepared to provide for the provision of a new community and youth hall in Crawfordsburn, County Down; and how this compares with the price paid by a private purchaser for the Terence Memorial Hall which was built for the Crawfordsburn community.

Mr. Carter

Until details about the extent and likely cost of providing a new community hall at Crawfordsburn are received from North Down borough council and these have been examined, it is not possible to say how much grant could be made available. I have no knowledge of the amount paid recently by a private purchaser for the Terence Memorial Hall.
