Mr. Alan WilliamsDiscussion between management, unions and Government representatives on the NEDC rubber processing sector working party has identified several factors affecting the decline of the tyre industry in Great Britain, cheap tyre imports being only one. My Department will support the anti-dumping case being prepared by the British Rubber Manufacturers' Association for submission to the European Commission shortly.
