(2) if, pursuant to his answer of 24 July 1978, Official Report, column 678, he will publish the latest figures for the average standard rent after rebate of a local authority home in Scotland.

§ Mr. Youngerasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, pursuant to his answer of 25 July 1978, Official Report, column 677, he will give the latest figures for the percentage of average household income accounted for by the average 453W standard rent after rebate of local authority tenants and the equivalent percentage in each year since 1970 in England and Wales.
§ Mr. Hugh D. BrownThe average overall for local authority tenants in Scotland, and not merely those receiving rebate, was 3.9 per cent. in 1977, according to a survey based on a small sample. For comparable figures for England and Wales I refer the hon. Member to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment and my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Wales.
