asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, pursuant to his answer of 3 July 1978, Official Report, column 90, he will give the latest figures for the proportion of total expenditure for the United Kingdom voted to Scotland for the National Health Service.

Comparative figures of health expenditure for the United Kingdom on the above basis are not available.

The proportion of expenditure voted by Parliament for the National Health Service in Scotland for 1977–78 compared to that so voted for Great Britain was 11.6 per cent.

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, pursuant to his answer of 3 July 1978, Official Report, column 89, he will give the latest figures for the amount of National Health Service funds allocated to Scotland.
