asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many general practitioners there are in the Crewe area; what is the average size of their list; and how this compares with the rest of Cheshire.

Mr. Moyle

On 1 January 1979 there were 110 general medical practitioners offering the full range of general medical services in the Crewe health district. Their average list size was 2,280, compared with an average list size of 2,303 in the Cheshire Area health authority.
