§ Mr. Scott-Hopkinsasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will list all the grants made from the regional development fund since 1975 and grants and loans from the European investment bank and the value of each grant made to assist projects in the constituency of Hereford and Worcester as defined for the European Assembly elections.
§ Mr. Les HuckfieldThere have been no grants from the European regional development fund—ERDF—or loans from the European investment bank, to projects in the Hereford and Worcester Euro-constituency area. The ERDF has been able to contribute to the costs of projects in assisted areas only, and Hereford and Worcester is not an assisted area.
