§ Mr. George Robertsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he has taken in relation to the activities of a sect called the "Children of God".
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesI have received a number of complaints about the activities of this sect. The enforcement of the criminal law is the responsibility of the police and, where it has been suggested to me that offences may have been committed by anyone in connection with the sect's activities, I have passed details of those allegations to the police.
