§ Dr. GilbertThe accommodation in the Greater London area occupied by Ministry of Defence staff falls into two categories
A. Civil estate buildings which are owned, or leased, by the Property Services Agency of the Department of the Environment.B. Defence estate buildings or sites which are either owned, or have been leased, by the Secretary of State for Defence.The majority of the Ministry of Defence's London based office staff is housed in 31 buildings in Central London, but there are also several in the outskirts. All the buildings listed in Table 1 fall into Category A.
Details of the buildings in Category B housing major units of the three Services are given in Table 2. Married quarters have been excluded.
