§ Mr. CryerThe Department has received a substantial number of inquiries about the Microprocessor Applications Project announced on 4th July 1978.
Consideration is being given to 80 formal applications under Part C of the 844W scheme relating to project support. Financial approval has already been given to 10 of these cases representing a potential contribution of about £1 million towards total project costs in excess of £3 million.
