§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he now expects to publish the code of practice on the control of odours from vegetable drying plants.
§ Mr. Denis Howell:A manual of guidance on the measurement and control of odours is currently being prepared, and this will contain material relevant to vegetable drying plants. Work is still in progress, and the manual cannot be published for another year. Meanwhile local authorities may seek expert advice from Warren Spring laboratory.
