§ Mr. Les Huckfield:In recent years the likely impact of silicon chip microelectronics on manufacturing industry has increasingly featured both in studies directly carried out by my Department and in other programmes of work in which it has participated. However, these activities form part of the Department's on-going programme and are not separately identified in the expenditure records.
