§ Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the fact that, of 52 Questions tabled for answer by him on 23rd November, 26 were seeking information on his public engagements for that day, he will now give a blocking answer, since such tedious and unimaginative repetition is detracting from the value of the limited period of questioning to the First Lord of the Treasury.
§ The Prime Minister:No. But my hon. Friend's suggestion enables me to draw attention to the criticisms of the indirect question contained in the 5th Report from the Select Committee on Procedure Session 1976–77.
