§ Mr. Wakehamasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he is aware that implementation of the non-mandatory directive reference 77/787 / EEC 39W concerning transfer of employment will have a damaging effect on the prospects for satisfactory transfer of employment for those employees whose employer has either gone into receivership or liquidation; and if he will take steps to see that no employee is preferred by this directive.
