§ Mr. Clinton DavisA number of such representations have been made in the past and alternatives to the present minimum noise routes for aircraft departing from the London airports have been considered, but I do not think that the present routeing structure should be changed unless it is necessary for safety reasons or unless it would result in overall environmental benefits. This policy has been endorsed by the independent Noise Advisory Council.
