§ Mr. Kenneth Clarkeasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether the Government have yet received a new communication sent from the European Commission to the Council of Ministers on general regional aid systems containing new and revised ceilings on regional aids; if not, when they expect to receive it: and if the Government intend to publish it.
Mr. Alan WilliamsThe Commission's communication containing the new and revised ceilings on regional aids has not yet been sent to the Council. It now seems unlikely that the communication will be issued before the first part of 1979, when the question of publication will be considered.
