§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will take steps to ensure that films on the dangers of smoking and alcohol and on sex education are available free of charge or at nominal charges to youth clubs.
§ Mr. MoyleI understand that the Health Education Council has produced a number of films for young people which deal with smoking and some of the issues of sexual relationships. These films are freely available to youth clubs and others through the council's central film library, or by arrangement with the health education services of area health authorities. While the council has no immediate plans to produce a film on alcohol, certain grant-aided voluntary bodies have films on the subject which, though not intended specifically for youth clubs, are aimed at professional workers in the youth field.
