Mr. Hollandasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if he will seek to abolish the individual nationalised industry consumer protection bodies, in the light of the growth of general provision for consumer protection through such bodies as the National Consumer Council, the Scottish Consumer Council, the Welsh Consumer Council, the Office of Fair Trading and the Price Commission.
