§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department on whose authority the War Widows' Association of Great Britain was excluded 425W from participation in the national ceremony of remembrance at the Cenotaph; and if he will ensure that steps are taken to ensure that this decision is reversed before 1979's ceremony of remembrance.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesThe War Widows' Association of Great Britain made no request to me to participate in the official ceremony at the Cenotaph. I shall, however, be considering, well in advance of next year's ceremony, whether it would be appropriate for any changes to be made in the traditional arrangements.
