§ 28. Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on his meetings with representatives of the fishing industry during the parliamentary recess.
Mr. MilianI met a Shetland delegation on 4th August to discuss the problems facing Shetland fishermen. I also met representatives of the Scottish Fishermen's Federation on 9th October to discuss the future of the pelagic fishing fleet in Scotland.
