§ Mr. OakesThe White Paper on industrial democracy (Cmnd. 7231) accepted that increased employee participation will give rise to new training needs and that Government money will be needed for training employees representatives. The nature and scale of the education and training need, the framework within which it will be provided and its rela-152W tionship with the mainstream of further and adult education provision remain to be decided in the light of consultations with interested parties, including the TUC.
