§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether, in support of the Government's policy of more open government, he will make available all papers and documents in the possession of the United Kingdom Nuclear Installations Inspectorate on the question of the safety of nuclear reactors.
§ Mr. BennI have been asked to reply.
The papers and documents in the possession of the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate include material, obtained in the course of carrying out its functions, some of which are of a proprietary and confidential nature. The inspectorate publishes details of its technical reviews and activities with the aim of keeping the public informed on questions of nuclear safety. If my hon.
