§ 27. Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he is satisfied with the progress of discussions with programme authorities on the inner cities policy.
§ Mr. FreesonAll 15 programme authorities have now submitted their first inner area programmes, putting together the views of all the agencies involved and presenting a co-ordinated strategy for action in the areas where the problems are most severe. The programmes are currently being considered and authorities will be informed of the outcome soon.
