§ Mr. Thorneasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what additions or alterations to buildings of the Preston polytechnic have been notified to her Department as urgent following the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act; and what financial authorisations, if any, have been issued to enable this work to be done as a matter of urgency.
