60. Mr. Fred Evansasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if, in view of persecution of religious minorities, such as Jehovah's Witnesses in Argentina, he will withdraw Her Majesty's ambassador in Buenos Aires.
§ Mr. RowlandsWe have had no ambassador in Buenos Aires since January 1976. The Argentine Government are well aware of the British Government's attitude to all abuses of human rights.
