§ Mr. Stanbrookasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if it is proposed to give legislative authority for the enforcement in the United Kingdom of the provisions of the convention relating to the status of refugees 1951, and the protocol to the convention 1967.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesI have no proposal for legislation in this field at present: but I am considering suggestions put to me on the matter by the representative in the United Kingdom of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
