§ The Attorney-GeneralA record of the cases, in which jury panel checks have been made, has been kept only since the introduction of guidelines on the practice in August 1975. I have no record of the number of jurors, if any, stood by for the Crown in the 25 cases in which jury checks have been made since then. It would not be desirable to reveal the names of defendants in the cases in which jury checks have been made.
