§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what assessment his Department has made of the effect of the £5,000,000 promotional campaign of British American Tobacco for the sale of State Express 555 cigarettes upon his efforts to prevent the increasing incidence of carcinoma of the lung, emphysema, 796W up to the end of March 1980. It is likely that the National Coal Board will make a request for a further loan for expenditure after that date and it is not yet possible to estimate what the total contribution by the European Comunity to the project will be.
