MorrisThe Select Committee on the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration is currently 783W reviewing the jurisdiction of the Parliamentary Commissioner and other matters relating to the effectiveness of his work. The Government will carefully consider any recommendations made by the Select Committee. A statement of the reasons for the Government's existing policy in regard to the exclusion of Crown Service personned matters from investigation by the Parliamentary Commissioner is contained in paragraphs 2 to 5 of the White Paper, Cmnd. 7098, published in February of this year.
