§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Employment, further to his reply of 18th January 1978, Official Report, Vol. 942, column 257, what arrangements have been made to continue the funding of enterprise workshops, especially co-operative workshops, within the youth opportunities programme.
§ Mr. GoldingThe Manpower Services Commission has submitted proposals for funding enterprise workshops, including 677W co-operatives, under the special temporary employment programme which applies only to adults. These are currently being considered by Ministers and we expect to reach a decision shortly.
There will be no provision for funding enterprise workshops within the youth opportunities programme.
