§ Mr. MoyleThe Registrar-General's publication on statistics of abortions was revised in 1974, and account was taken of suggestions and criticisms that had been made. A number of new tables were introduced and others were omitted. The decision to suspend coding of social and occupation factors, partly for economic reasons and partly because of the limited quality of the information, led to the omission of several tables.
